Keeping Your Dog in Top Health; Dont let them Down!

Whether your dog is a show dog or your in-house companion, dogs require proper grooming practices to promote their happiness and well-being. Make sure you do your part to keep Rover looking and feeling his best by keeping up a few necessary grooming procedures.

Brushing your dog daily is necessary for all lengths of hair. It controls your dog’s shedding and stimulates blood flow, as well as helping to remove fleas and ticks and keeping your dog’s coat healthy and shiny.

Bathing your dog not only turns him into a more pleasant companion for you, but promotes skin health and keeps away irritations.

Trimming your dog’s nails prevents them from growing too long and curling into their pads, which can result in pain and infection. The nails can begin to split, or can cause your dog’s toes to separate, resulting in lameness, poor posture, and joint pain.

Tooth brushing has a number of positive effects, aside from curbing that dreaded doggie breath. Brushing his teeth increases blood flow to the gums and prevents plaque, tartar, and gum disease.

Ear-cleaning is especially important for dogs with particularly floppy ears. Removing ear wax can help prevent ear infections and the buildup of wax and bacteria.

Clipping is important for dogs that have longer hair that mats easily. Clipping keeps fleas and ticks away and makes grooming simpler.

These simple steps in your pet’s grooming can prevent complications with your pet’s health, and keeps your pet looking clean and fresh.

    Hey Anita!

Yes, I have tried the Pedi paw, but my pup looked like shes was still in some sort of discomfort.

But less pain then a normal pair of clippers.
