Like human beings, dogs need exercise on a daily basis. But walking your dog shouldn’t be a chore, it should be something that’s fun for the both of you. So start changing your ideas about walking your dog and realize this is precious downtime for you and for your dog as well!
Thirty minutes a day is all it takes to keep your dog (and yourself) happy and healthy. If this is time you don’t necessarily look forward to, think about it as a short getaway. It’s a break from your day where you can accomplish some real thinking, either about your day so far, or as a moment to not think at all and clear your mind.
Walking exercises not only your body, but your mind as well. It provides bonding time between you and your dog. It’s one-on-one time that your dog will appreciate and that will help socialize him with the rest of the world.
If walking’s not your thing, try different types of exercises. There’s swimming, agility exercises, and even running. It will keep both of you in shape and will motivate you toward a better lifestyle.

It‘s quite in here! Why not leave a response?
