Rectangular aquariums have become the norm, but there are more ways to impress your friends and loved ones that go beyond the usual aquarium, unique lighting, or fancy fish.

Unique fish tanks come in a variety of sizes and shapes, but they all have one thing in common – they are designed to impress people. Whether it’s a small tank or a large wall aquarium, these aquariums can be fun to shop for and even more fun to maintain.

The wall aquarium started because some people in smaller houses or condominiums wanted to be able to keep fun fish tanks without wasting precious floor space. A wall tank is actually housed within an interior wall of the building. The lighting, filter, air pump, and all accessories are kept out of view. This leaves a pristine image to feast your eyes upon without having to see all the contraptions that are necessary to keep the inhabitants healthy.

Other tanks are designed to be hung on the wall, like you’d hang a picture frame. These are often suited best for small fish like guppies and fancy goldfish due to their narrow size.

This comes with a regular glass table top, but underneath this see-through surface, and making up the base of the table is a fish tank! They are often long and narrow, but not very high. The fish are free to swim from globe to globe as they discover their favorite parts of the environment. Not only is it entertaining to watch, it provides your fish with excellent exercise.
